cinnamon....
eye like to live my life.... based on song lyrics.... there is one song.... that says that eye should not fall in love.... and so.... eye do NOT date.... (1)
there is another song.... sons and daughters.... by the decemberists.... talks about eating a lot of cinnamon.... (2) and so.... eye am eating a lot of cinnamon.... eye am probably consuming a teaspoon full of cinnamon four or five times per day....
eye do not always blindly follow the lyrics.... there is a lot of evidence.... that cinnamon is a powerful antimicrobial.... and.... at the moment.... eye am fighting two known bacteria in my body.... klebsiella pneumoniae.... and.... streptococcus.... both of which.... if left unchecked.... can cause a lot of havoc in the body.... so the really good news.... is that cinnamon may be affective in fighting klebsiella pneumoniae.... even antibiotic resistant klebsiella pneumoniae.... (3)
eye know that eye have klebsiella pneumoniae and streptococcus.... because eye did a stool sample test a few months ago....
if you are wondering why eye seem to be being negligent.... in not reporting this to my doctor and asking for antibiotics.... here is why.... eye have given this a lot of thought....
my regular lab for bloodwork most likely would not have found the bacteria.... the stool sample that eye did ten years ago showed that eye had high.... extremely high.... levels of h pylori in the body.... and eye have had my regular lab test me for h pylori numerous times throughout the decade..... and the results always came back negative.... eye have a lot of other issues with this lab.... for example.... according to my doctor.... my prostate is swollen.... and yet.... the lab says that my psa levels are low.... the lab has always said that my psa levels are low.... which means that there should not be much inflammation in the prostate.... right.... but my doctor.... through physical examination.... says that it is swollen.... enought so.... that he put me on tamsulosin.... to reduce the swelling.... AND.... as another example.... eye tested my c-reactive protein at this lab.... they said that it was zero.... right.... eye say.... eye knew that my body was full of inflammation at the time.... so eye tested my c-reactive protein at a different lab.... and guess what.... they said that my c-reactive protien was a seven.... indicating that my body was inflammed.... the results from teh second lab made more sense to me.... eye had all kinds of signs that my body was inflammed at the time....
so.... my point is.... eye am not being delinquent in not taking an antibiotic for the klebsiella pneumoniae.... this lab would.... like always.... show that eye have no bacteria.... and therefore.... my doctor would not order an antibiotic....
also.... if he was willing to prescribe an antibiotic.... eye am not so sure that eye would take it.... antiobiotics are non-selective.... they kill the good with the bad.... which.... when the good bacteria is gone.... often times makes it easier for the bad to come back.... which.... eye think.... klebsiella has been known to do.... after antibiotics.... eye think.... it has been known to come back more virulent than before.... (4) AND.... even worse.... there are strains of klebsiella and streptococcus.... that are resistant to antibiotics.... (5)(6) meaning.... if eye take an antibiotic.... eye could kill the good.... and do nothing to the bad.... making the bad.... even stronger....
cinnamon is supposed to help with blood sugar regulation too.... (7) so.... here is my hypothesis.... eye think that cinnamon helps with blood sugar regulation.... because it kills bacteria.... which somehow affects blood sugar levels.... it is my hypothesis.... that in some people.... bad bacteria somehow makes blood sugar levels higher.... eye think that.... they have learned to do things to the body.... that raises blood sugar.... because.... many of them like high blood sugar.... many of them thrive when blood sugar levels are high.... like klebsiella pnemoniae.... (8)
so.... cinnamon.... and many many other antimicrobials.... here eye come.... knocking on your door.... help me.... help me.... help me.... please....
