chronically high CORTISOL levels....

having chronically high cortisol levels can cause you to store fat in the abdominal area....  specifically....  visceral fat....  fat around the organs....  harmful harmful harmful fat....  it can also cause your body to choose to burn muscle before fat....  whoops....

now....  many people will recommend that you take adaptagens....  like ashwaganda and holy basil....   to reduce your stress levels....  to reduce your cortisol levels....  but....  eye say....  this is taking care of the symptoms....  rather than figuring out the root cause....  it is like putting a bandaid on a wound....  and....  you have to put it on the wound indefinitely....  because the wound never heals....

however....  eye have decided....  that eye am going to take ashwaganda and holy basil....  until eye can figure out what the root cause of the high cortisol levels is....

so....  the trick....  is figuring out what the root cause of your chronically high cortisol levels is....

in my case....  eye think that it is do to the candida that has been making a home in my body for at least ten years now....

candida causes the body to produce more cortisol....  perhaps....  because it thrives in a high cortisol environment....  

interestingly enough....  chronically high cortisol levels....  might also make the environment in the body more hospitable.... for mold (aspergillus) and bacteria (klebsiella and clostridia and others)....
