metabolic syndrome....

the good news....  the really really good news....  is that....  with all of my current ailments....  eye do not have metabolic syndrome....  as of today....  eye only have one symptom of metabolic syndrome....  yay....

eye have had high fasting blood glucose in recent weeks....  a few weeks back....  eye had a fasting blood glucose of one hundred and sixty....  yuck....  but....  the levels have started to come down....  since eye have added cinnamon and berberine to my supplements....  the levels have started to come down....  they still bounce all over the place....  eye had a one hundred and twenty four the other morning....  but....  eye am having really good numbers too....  eye had a ninety-four a week ago....  eye have NEVER had a ninety-four....  and yesterday it was one hundred....  and today it was one hundred and one....

eye am also watching my nightime carbohydrates....  eye am primarily limiting them to vegetable carbohydrates....  no more nightly chocolate bar....  but....  eye feel that reducing my nightly carbohydrates....  is cheating....  it is managing my diabetes....  rather than curing it....

the trygliceride and hdl number were from five months ago....  before eye adjusted my diet....  to eat significantly more meat....  and....  significantly reduce my carbohydrate intake....  so....  the next time that eye test my tryglicerides and hdl....  eye am expecting higher tryglicerides....  and lower hdl....  the trade off....  lower carbohydrates means lower blood sugar....  but it might also mean higher tryglicerides....  we shall see....

so....  the chart below....  shows where eye currently stand....  when it comes to metabolic syndrome....  according to the us national cholesterol education program....  eye must have three of the conditions listed in the table below....  to have metabolic syndrome.... (1)
